Ephesus and Sirince Tours
Ephesus is an Ancient Roman City and Sirince is a classic village in Selcuk town , Turkey. Both of them are the most popular touristic attractions during the Ephesus Tours. Many people who book Private Ephesus Tours combine their tour with Sirince Village too. Because, they want to see a village life in Turkey. But, unfortunately, most of the people are disappointed with Sirince since there are not so much to see, but only the shops. Most of our guests expect a quaint and authentic place, a village life, cows, donkeys, villagers, but they are not be visible since this village lost its importance and turned a touristy shopping area. Because, most of villagers changed their houses to touristic shops. But, there are many great spots to take pictures in the village. On the other hand, here is the best place in the area to have Turkish Coffee.
But, Ephesus Ancient City is the highlight of the area. This is the best preserved ancient city in the world, millions of the people book Private Ephesus Tours from cruise ships that dock to Kusadasi Port and visit all the best places during their Ephesus Tour. All the visitors who book Ephesus Tour need a tour guide in Ephesus. Having a tour without a tour guide in Ephesus is not recommended since the visitors do not understand the meaning of the columns, constructions and ancient ruin.
Here is a review on TripAdvisor about Ephesus Tour and us;
Excellent Tour in Ephesus
I visited Izmir at end of May and stayed in Konak for couple of days. After roaming the city for the first 2 days, we decided to book an Ephesus Tour departing from Konak. As usual, we went research on internet and found several companies. But Ephesus Port Tours is the one who came back very fast and their price is very competitive. We decided straight away to go with them!
On the day of the Private Ephesus tour; our tour guide Mehmet pick up us exactly on time at 9 am in our hotel lobby. He speaks English really well and friendly as well.
We started the tour with House of Virgin Mary and then Ephesus and Temple of Artemis. Along our way to Ephesus, Mehmet was engaging and shared with us a lot of history about Turkey and particularly Izmir and significant historical building along our way to Ephesus.
During our visit to those places; Mehmet also guide us along the way and patiently explain every question that we had about Roman and Greek history in Turkey.
He is an excellent tour guide in Ephesus !!! And I am very impressed with the service he gave us. Even at the end of the tour, he bought us drinks and those little things does matter!
Another thing to highlight about this tour is the lunch!! Mehmet brought us to a quite and romantic restaurant where we ate kebab, meatballs and loads of delicious meze!!
Overall, I am very satisfied with their Ephesus service and would definitely recommend them to everyone who is travelling to Turkey!!
